The Women’s Premier League (WPL) teams were sold on Monday, January 25 ahead of the inaugural edition of the league, which is likely to be held in March. Adani Sportsline Pvt Ltd, the sports arm of Gautam Adani, made the biggest bid for a team and purchased Ahmedabad for Rs 1289 crore.
